Authentic German Christstollen
Our famous Christstollen is back!
This Stollen is made by Michael and he is very proud of his old family tradition and this recipe which was handed down from generation to generation.
The Stollen is a traditional German cake-like bread made with yeast, milk, raisins, almonds, fruit peels, spices and lots of butter. The first Stollen was mentioned in an official document in 1474.
The Stollen weighs ca. 650 g and can be stored in a dry and cool place for several weeks.
